Back at it

So my training for the Half Marathon had kind of fallen off my priority list for a couple of weeks. With the hubs working longer hours I found the excuse (have I mentioned I hate excuses?) "I can't I've got the kids, sorry".  I knew I needed to get back in gear and get going. So I have been getting up at 4:15am and meeting up with a friend to get our morning run in and it feels fabulous!  We run at least 5 miles every morning and I love it! The race is only 24 days away and I am kind of shaking in my running shoes. We have cut our time down from 60 minutes to 49 minutes! But can I go further? I am not sure and I am thinking I need to test myself without killing myself trying. Will I be able to finish? I sure hope so. We will see.

you can totally do it sister! 24 days? Make sure you have the shoes you will be running the race in and start training in them now to break them in. When i ran my marathon the running store said to get shoes at least a 1/2 size bigger than you normally where so that when your feet swell your toes arent squished. I normally wear a 6 1/2 and my running shoes were 8 1/2!!! Keep up the good work!

Great job!! You WILL be able to finish!! What is the longest you've run so far? I think once you make it to 10, you can FOR SURE go another 3.
